Well, I hope the suggestions were helpful: they were only my untutored opinion. Having said that, I do like the new picture – I think it works really well.
Incidentally, on another issue, altogether, I don’t know if “Blogger” squashes things to a certain size or whether you have to re-size them slightly to achieve the required layout but the difference in quality between the pictures as they appear in the blog and as the “stand-alone” versions is quite staggering.
So, if anyone reads these comments:
ALWAYS CLICK ON THE PICTURE TO LOOK AT IT PROPERLY.
There. We will fix it, we will stitch it, we will make it like new, new, new…

Yeah, it seems to squash. For the web, I tend to reduce them to 500 pixels on their longest dimension.
