Lydd Air Show (1)

Lydd airport is on the Romney Marshes in South East England. It doesn't have major traffic, though there's a regular shuttle across the Channel (a small Trislander). However, it's re-launching itself as London (Ashford) Airport. The air show there was new this year, and wasn't at all bad.

These are two privately owned warbirds, a Spitfire and Hurricane, that flew for a while in surprisingly close formation. The light was exactly right. Beautiful sight.
