I am always taken by the bleak beauty of industrial landscapes. I am not sure I’d necessarily want to live under those power lines but they, and the pylons that support them, are impressive shapes that I find all the more enjoyable for their functional simplicity. I love the “glow” that fills the picture: did you use some sort of Photoshoppery to create the slightly unreal effect?
Also particularly love the clock: the framing/ positioning is perfect and the slight sense of life and movement provided by the shadows of the tree outside gives added interest to what would have been a very “static” picture, otherwise. There is something slightly poignant about the combination of elements and the black and white photo. A sort of “life is elsewhere,” clockwatching feeling.
