Newark Air Museum (2)

Both (c)2006 Jon Pumpkin

The one thing it did do at Newark was rain. Brilliant sunshine, then sheets of rain. Virtually no middle ground. There were enough shelter spots that this didn't stop photography completely. And the bat-wings of the Vulcan proved useful for some.

Ignorance. I thought the Canberra was a B2, but it turns out to be a PR.7 (WH791). Like the Vulcan, I love the way the Canberras in rain just stand there saying to the world "You think this will stop us? Pah!" Beautiful aircraft. Hoping to see one flying at Lydd (Kent) in a couple of weeks time.
