After Sadness

(c)2007 Jon Pumpkin

I do not like exploiting the sadness of others. I think I've only done it deliberately once, and didn't feel comfortable about that picture (my wife is very sure, and hates it). The main subject of this picture was meant to be the standing, reflecting young lady. However, looking over the pictures later, the reationship between her and the other was interesting (moved the figures closer to emphasise this). The apparently sad girl was, I promise, just cleaning sand from her eyes. They'd been larking moments before, and were larking pretty soon after. And they clearly did care about each other. So this isn't really a picture of sadness. It just looks like it. Hence the title.
