The Owl

Okay, so it's obviously fake. Not so obvious when you're driving past the chemical plant in question. Or presumably if you're a small bird looking for somewhere to roost. Anyway, on the first clear Sunday for a few weeks, I was able to actually park up, and saw that the owls (there are two of them) are just models.

Yesterday I was unwell (not unusual) and off work (unusual), and feeling pretty mopey, tbh. Amongst other whinges, I said to the Beautiful One how disappointed I was about the owls, and how I'd love to photograph one in the wild.

This morning, setting off for work, a barn owl performed, working the field opposite the house. Too dark to photograph, but lovely to see, and a lovely pseudo-synchronicity!
